2003 – Present
Dr. Taeho Jo began his career in industry, serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Adobe (former Macromedia) Korea before leaving the position in 2003 to pursue graduate studies. From 2003 to 2010, he pursued his doctoral studies at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, earning a Ph.D. in Computational Bioinformatics in 2010. Following his doctoral training, Dr. Jo held postdoctoral and research scientist positions at RIKEN and the University of Michigan, where he applied artificial intelligence to a range of biomedical problems. In 2018, he joined the Indiana University School of Medicine, with appointments in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, the Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, and the Indiana University Center for Neuroimaging, and his research focuses on developing advanced computational methods for the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. In addition to his research, Dr. Jo is actively engaged in writing and education, authoring technical books and teaching to broaden access to AI and computational science.
