Since 2010
Dr. Taeho Jo received a Ph.D. in Computational Bioinformatics from Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2010. After completing the doctoral program, Dr. Jo worked as a postdoctoral fellow and research scientist at RIKEN and the University of Michigan, applying AI to various biomedical challenges. In 2018, Dr. Jo joined the Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences, the Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, and the Indiana University Center for Neuroimaging at the Indiana University School of Medicine. His work has focused on developing advanced computational methods for Alzheimer's disease diagnosis.
Research Lab & Future Directions
Established April 2024
Established in April 2024, JoLab aims to leverage deep learning and integrative approaches in neuroimaging and genomics to improve early detection and patient outcomes in neurodegenerative diseases. The lab is dedicated to solving complex biomedical challenges and advancing the understanding of Alzheimer's disease through cutting-edge AI research.
